Day 01: Bagdogra/ New Jalpaiguri – Kalimpong ( 75 Kms – 2-3 Hrs)
On arrival at Bagdogra / New Jalpaiguri you will be met & transferred by road to Kalimpong, another quiet hill resort in eastern Himalaya famous for its Orchids & Nurseries. Arrive and proceed to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure, to explore this scenic town on your own. Overnight at the hotel in Kalimpong.
Day 02: Kalimpong – Gangtok (78 Kms / 2-3 Hrs)
In the morning you will proceed for the sightseeing tour of Kalimpong. You will visit Durpin Dhara, Zong Dog Palri, Fo-Brong Monastery and Flower & Orchid Nurseries. Later afternoon you will be transferred to Gangtok, situated at an altitude of 5500ft.Gangtok is the capital of the state of Sikkim is a beautiful and clean town promising of the best monasteries and landscapes. Proceed to your hotel, rest of the evening is at leisure.Overnight at Gangtok.
Day 03: Gangtok
This morning you will start your sightseeing tour of Gangtok, visiting, Chortan, Stupa, Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday) Institute of Handicrafts and handlooms (Closed on Sunday). IN the afternoon you will visit to Roomtek Monastery & Dharma Chakra Centre, biggest monastery in Sikkim and main seat the Karma Kagyu lineage. Overnight Gangtok.
Day 04: Gangtok – Tsomgo Lake – Gangtok
Today you will proceed on an excursion tour to Tsomgo lake (32 kms/2 hrs) , an oval shaped lake about 1 km long and approx 15 mtrs, deep situated at an altitude of 12,400 ft, and considered as the most sacred lake by the local people. Return to Gangtok late afternoon, rest of the day is at leisure for shopping and individual activity. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05: Gangtok - Darjeeling (98 Kms/3-4 Hrs)
Today you will be transferred to Darjeeling, tea capital of the world and India’s premier hill station known for its magnificent viewsof the Himalayas. Proceed to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure to relax in your hotel or you may walk around the. Overnight at the hotel in Darjeeling.
Day 06: Darjeeling
Early morning (0330 hrs) start for Tiger Hill to witness a spectacular sunrise and its amazing effects on the Mt. Kanchendzonga (Worlds 3rd highest peak) on your return visit Ghoom Monastery and Batashia Loop, a War Memorial. Later this morning proceed on a half day local sightseeing visit Padmaja N. Zoological Garden (Closed on Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tibetian Refugee Self-help Center (Closed on Sunday) and visit to the Mall and Local Market (Closed on Thursday). Rest of the day is at leisure for shopping and individual activity, overnight at the hotel
Day 07: Darjeeling – Bagdogra/New Jalpaiguri
Morning Transfer to Bagdogra Airport / New Jalpaiguri railway station for your onward journey
